coming back to life

I’m coming back to life.

No, actually – I came back to life all in one day – just like that.

Last week, after months of struggling, I finally had that magical moment of clarity with my coach about what I need to do.

Within hours I felt myself waking up, feeling like myself again, and flowing with passion about my purpose in life.

Do you know that feeling?

Here’s what happened…

In 2017 I created an offshoot of my business based on what I thought I was “supposed” to do.

The experts in my field told me I should. I was turning away from my passion.

I tried to talk myself into it saying it was a worthy cause combined with a brilliant business plan.

The experts know what they are talking about, right?!

What do I know?

Turns out, I know a lot. I know what is genuine for me. I know what feels like the right move for me in my life and my business. I know what my true genius and passion is. And when I stay true to that – everything works.

Are you doing what you’re “supposed” to be doing, but feeling bogged down, burned out and frustrated? Really think about it.

What’s it like to think about doing what you want instead?

Doing what feels right to you?

Doing what feels like your authentic self?

Ask yourself that, and feel the energy. Really, just feel it.

Isn’t that the kind of energy you want guiding you in life?

I do. 100%

I wondered why I wasn’t myself for so long. I was pushing through and gearing up, but the light inside was always flickering. It’s easy to fool myself because I still stay positive and smile and muster up the energy I need. But inside… it just wasn’t working.

In that moment last week – the light came back.

What can you do to get your light back? What do you really want to do to stay true to you, your desires and your genius? And what will it be like to live life from that energy?

Think about it. You deserve it.

Boss Mom

One of my former clients sent me her success story last week.

She had her second baby last year while growing her business. She set some goals that seemed big and scary…

And she met them.

She had plans in her brain about what she wanted to do…

And she did them.

She is creating her life, rather than being at the effect of it.

One of my favorite things about her is that she is clear on her priorities and what she really wants.

She hired me to help her make her life happen – the way she wanted it to.

Brilliant.

Are you true to your priorities? Do you create what you want? Are you willing to believe that more is possible for you?

I hope you’ll consider it.

Have an amazing day, one thought at a time!

It’s time for *Think it Thursday* and 1 year ago.

Exactly 1 year ago today I launched my book!

And because of support from followers like you – it became a bestseller within 24 hours.

As I’ve heard from so many of you over the last year about how the book has changed your life, I’ve felt even more gratitude for the opportunity to write it.
And it’s also become clear to me that the book, didn’t change any lives at all.

The women who bought it and opened up a desire to learn from it – changed their own lives.

The book is there, but not everyone’s lives are changed.
Changing our lives requires us to be ready.
It requires openness.
It requires us to decide that we deserve better in our lives.

Do you deserve better?  Do you deserve to live a fulfilling and happy life?
Do you deserve to feel good about who you are?

I say yes, you absolutely do.
I hope you agree.

It’s been an honor to share my book with you.
Thank you.

I love all of you so much.

Have an amazing day, one thought at a time!

a plan

It’s your *Think it Thursday* and a plan.

How often do you plan your time?

Do you love to plan? Hate to plan? Fight against it? Feel restricted?

I can relate to all of these statements to be honest.

Planning and organizing my life is not something that comes naturally to me.
I crave order and systems, and yet I fight against it.

But, I’m doing it anyway.

As I’ve been planning more, here’s what I’ve found:

Planning never seems exciting, but I do it anyway. (and feel awesome afterward)

When I have a plan, I waste less time.
When I plan my “do nothing time,” I enjoy that time much more.

Planning makes my life easy.
Planning takes the weight of worry off my shoulders.

When I say, “I’m too busy to plan or be organized” – I’m wrong.

Planning is the remedy to busyness.

you’re going to be okay

*Think it Thursday* and you’re going to be okay –

Today’s one of those days that I’m getting personal.

I’m speaking to those of you who feel you’re in a dark place, stuck, and wondering how you will make it through whatever challenge you are facing.

You may be feeling fear and worry that things won’t get better in your life.

I know just how you feel.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I’ve been redesigning my life and creating a new normal over the last few years as I’m navigating life as a single mom. I’ve been managing the ups and downs of chronic fatigue and trying to keep the faith that it will get better.

I’ve been forging ahead and yet – I’m sort of breathing a sigh of relief lately.  I feel that sense of, wow I made it through – and I’m still standing.  I’m still moving forward.

I remember feeling so much fear and experiencing deep sadness.
I remember so much uncertainty and wishing it would all just go away.

I’ve been putting one foot in front of the other and it wasn’t until recently that I had an appreciation for how much I’ve come through and what I’ve overcome.  Not because of me, but because of the possibilities that life allows us.

Within you is the ability to overcome every challenge in front of you.  Even when it’s not easy.

And believe me – it never feels easy.

If you’re reading this and feeling that you can’t keep going– I understand.
If you’re wondering if you’ll make it through – I understand.
If you’re thinking the end of this challenge should be sooner rather than later – I totally understand.

And yet I promise you – you can handle this challenge in front of you.

You are capable, and you are strong.

You were designed to overcome this challenge.

Your faith, your strength, and your courage will come together as a force of nature.  You’ll do it.  I promise.

Sending you extra love today.

Have a great day, one thought at a time!
